The inspiration of this quilt was the family pet called, of course, "Gray Kitty" or "Gray" for short. Gray adopted my family and was a cherished members for almost twenty years. She found her way to our home as a scared wet kitten looking for love, food and shelter. Gray was a very special kitty. She won our hearts and we won the kitty lottery for sure! The kitten on this quilt as as sweet as Gray. The little mouse adds just a touch of whimsy to make things fun. This quilt truly has "heart." Some of the quilting elements include Double Four-Patch blocks that are machine pieced and machine quilted. The flange binding adds a beautiful finish.
