This quilt was created by the participants a the annual Tanzania Fabric, Fun, & Facts benefit retreat held for past 11 years at Carol Joy Holling Camp the last weekend in February. The proceeds go to the Tanzanian Women's Scholarship Fund. This provides tuition, board and room for six young women to the Angaza Women Training Center, run by the women of the ELCT Tanzania East Africa (Lutheran Church). St. Matthew Lutheran Church- Omaha sponsors this benefit retreat.
