Small bundles of precut batik fabric from Tanzania arrived at our congregation last fall and were set out in our Mission Marketplace for sale by donation. Got to have these! Vibrant colors and contemporary shapes made them stand out, so I paired them with more conventional US batiks and solids. Two cultures, Africa and America, dancing together. Pieced and quilted by Marcia Pearson, Ceresco, Nebraska 2019.
