Janice Nelson Bane was a former resident of Oakland and member of First Lutheran. Her brother, a local farmer, and member of our church and her step sister is a member of the quilting group at our church.
When Janice lost her battle with cancer in 2018, her family sent several of her started quilts to our quilting group. One of our members finished this quilt and it was decided that we would have it long-armed and donated to CJH in Jani's memory.
